Zeroine JuCha 2021

“Zero” for no additives and “zeroïne” for a feminine hero, the winery is located in Rotalier, southern Jura. 



Established in 2018 initially as a negociant venture, Zeroine is the brainchild of Maylis Bernard. The grand daughter of the winemaker from Château-Chalon, Maylis used to help her grandfather at the vineyard. She also happens to be the life partner of Jean-Francois Ganevat.



Having received invaluable guidance from both Jean-Francois and his sister Anne, her vineyard and cellar practices mirrors theirs. Maylis embraces traditional techniques and fermentations are largely carried out in open-top wooden vats with extended ageing periods in barrel and demi-muid, followed by at least one year in bottle before release. Additionally, Maylis made a decision to avoid compromising her creativity and expressiveness of her wines by fully steering clear of any intervention as well as SO2.


There's also a discernible alignment in the stylistic approaches Maylis has adopted: characterised by distinctive aromatic profiles, lively acidity and exceptionally flavourful palates.



The 2020 and 2021 releases represent a significant milestone in the transition to become a part-domaine enterprise. Since bottling her inaugural vintage, Maylis has acquired exquisite small plots of land in and around the estate in La Combe de Rotalier, South Revermont. These acquisitions have enabled the introduction of captivating Chardonnay's and Savagnin's, which complement the already diverse and playful range of reds.

Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients
Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
