A Barbera loaded with juicy blueberries, plums and crunchy acidity in a 1L bottle, perfect for your dinner gathering. Barbera grapes from 30 year old vines Barbera from d'Asti, fermented 2 weeks on skins and refined in large barrels and steel. Great balance of acidity, tannin and fruit. 
About the Producer

One of the most sought after names in Barbaresco, Olek Bondonio is not your typical Italian winemaker. He loves surfing, snowboarding and has a penchant bordering on the obsessive for Vegemite.

He grew up in his family's farmhouse La Berchialla. It sits amongst Barbaresco's most famous names such as Gaja and the Barbaresco producers, to whom Olek sold his grapes before he started making his own wine in 2005.

Olek works organically with a real hands on approach, whilst in the cellar he exhibits a patience beyond his years. His wines are precise, pure and deep with a character inspired by old school expressions of Piedmont’s local grapes.
