Les Pieds Sur Terre Cremant du Jura Brut Nature

Valentin Morel earned a degree in international law but decided that he would prefer to make wine instead. So he travelled to Alsace to learn winemaking from producers like Bruno Schueller and Pierre Frick.

He later took over the family domain in 2014, and manages 6 hectares of vineyards - Chardonnay and Savagnin for the white grapes, Pinot, Trousseau and Poulsard for reds. Soils here are typically Jurassic soil composed of marl. On average his vines are 40-45 years old except from the Bois d'Arnaux vineyard which is a younger plot with massale selection cuttings from Philippe Bornard for the Poulsard, and Savagnin from Julien Labet.

In the cellar, he favours minimal intervention as he aims to make wines that do not need any additions. His reds are destemmed, macerated and aged in stainless steel tanks, unlike the whites which are pressed, fermented and aged in barriques.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients
Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
