Combining table apples and classic English cider varieties, this is a fusion of the classic British “barnyard” and tannic style with the more vinous and tart Nordic expression.

Burgundy barrel-aged Rød Aroma from Ådalen (Fyn), Holsteiner Cox fermented with skin contact from Allesø (Fyn) and British cider varieties from Lærkehøj (Sjælland).

Fresh, fruity, tannic bite and complexity with a hint of smoke.
About the Producer

For years Denmark has been at the forefront of food culture with it's new nordic cuisine. Now, its the drinks that are undergoing a revolution. And three mates from Copenhagen are among a vanguard of small producers redefining beverages made from apples, berries and other local and foreign fruits. At their winery in Nordhaven they crush and ferment all of these things to create products as complex and vinous as wine, quenchy as kombucha, sour as Lambic and as fruitful as freshly squeezed fruit juice. They are all wild fermented and made from Organically farmed Danish fruit with a minimal intervention ethos.

As a bonus they are also minimising food waste - every year 5 million kilos of apples fall from trees and are abondoned (I would guess it would be a similar amount in Lithuania). On the island of Fyn (Funen in english) there is a tradition of handing in excess fruit to a local cidery (donors sign that they are organically grown) in exchange for bottles of the finished product. The boys use some of this cider for use in their wines and are also borrowing the concept with the same offer at locations in Copenhagen and Aarhus.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
