Verdelho (a white wine grape varietal mainly grown in Portugal, particularly with Madeira) from McClaren Vale.

The grapes were picked early and vinified two different ways —whole bunch using the semi-carbonic maceration method as well as de-stemmed and macerated on skins for 3 weeks. Both batches are left to age for 18 months on lees before blended into stainless tank for a further 12 months of ageing.

Citrus with a hint of spice. Great with Asian food.

About the Producer

A shared curiosity in pushing boundaries in winemaking, Yetti and the Kokonut is a collaborative wine project founded in 2015 by South Australian vigneron David “Yetti” Geyer and Belgian-born sommelier Koen “Koko” Janssens.

  Based in the Barossa Valley, David and Koen seek out forgotten varieties from organic vineyards across South Australia—including Eden Valley, McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills.

With the belief that expressive wines begin in the vineyard, Yetti and the Kokonut prioritise a healthy ecosystem by sourcing only from organically managed vineyards and managing several plots of their own. Their ethos very much centres on respectful, hands-on viticulture and regenerative principles that support soil health, biodiversity and minimal chemical inputs.

 David and Koen’s style of wine embraces a vibrant and lo-fi approach: early picking of fruit, native fermentations, extended skin contact and multiple varietal blends to produce drink-now wines that are juicy and lively with playful personalities  .

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.
