Wachau // Austria

The name of this wine gives a hint: this carefully farmed white (mostly Grüner Veltliner with a dash of Riesling, grapes from biodynamic farming) has been macerated and fermented on the skins for a couple of days in order to add color and extract even more aromas and structure. The light sensation of tannins further enhances the wine’s character. Take me to the moon!

About the Producer

Wabi-Sabi is a wine project by the well-known oenologist and expert on wine and its production, Franz Hofstätter. He has been involved in wine for a long time and cooperates with a number of well-known winemakers not only in Austria. He is a prominent figure in the Tastes of Austria (TOA) project, which aims to help winemakers with marketing, sales and export success. Franz loves wine as much as his home terroir Wachau.

Wabi-Sabi is a combination of his experience, ideas and relationship with nature. Energetic, natural and at the same time exceptionally pure and balanced wines from his production will appeal to you after the first few sips. The goal at Wabi Sabi is to create wines with personality and depth. They work with the nature, not against it. Organically treated vineyards offer the ideal conditions for plants, animals and human beings, the resulting wines show their inner harmony and give joy of life. The wines are unfiltered, unfined and need only low or zero additions of sulphur.

Doorstep Delivery

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
