Orange Celebration
It's time to celebrate with some skin contact! We chose 2 special bottles, made by small producers who work naturally and by hand. Skin contact wines otherwise known as Orange wines are white wines made in the way red wines are made, with the grapes left to macerate with their skins on during fermentation. This gives a beautiful sunset hue, texture and flavour.
Here we have 2 skin contact wines - Fistful of Flowers made by producer Dane Johns of Momento Mori in Victoria, Australia as well as Fresh Impression Blanc by producer Patrice Beguet in Jura, France. Both are small producers who work naturally and by hand, and take such great care in the vineyards and in the cellar. Skin contact (also called orange wine) is white wine made like red wine, with the grape skins left in contact with the juice during fermentation. The result is gorgeous color, texture, flavor and aroma.
These wines are vibrant, conversation-starters and an absolute delight. Each set comes with a recyclable premium green gift box and green gift bag, a little info card on the wines, and a hand written note for your special recipient in a matching green envelope.
