Been craving some complex, unique, and beautifully expressive wines from the mountainous Savoie region? Well you’re in luck, because Jean-Yves Péron is back!⁠ ⁠

A blend of different varieties including Jacquère, Mondeuse, Moscato, Altesse, Roussane etc, aged 2 years in tanks, foudres and barrels. After racking the barrels and ageing vats from all his terroirs (Savoyard and Italian), Jean-Yves gathers all the lees in the same vat to obtain Vin de lies. These lees are suspended in a small quantity of wine, which is again decanted and recovered once or twice. Nourished by the lees, the red becomes smoother, softer, and the white is less taut and rounder. Jean-Yves Péron has grouped together the lees of all his 2021 whites and some of those of 2022. Only made every 2 years.

"It's a wine for pleasure," says Jean-Yves Péron of this Vin de lies. It's to drink anytime, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.! This is the real "house cuvée", generally very popular. Pairings: goes with everything.

About the Producer

After studying oenology in Bordeaux and working with the masters of natural wines Thierry Allemand in Cornas and Bruno Schueller in Alsace, Jean-Yves Péron decided to return to Savoy in 2004 and set up his own project in the village of Chevaline. Here he focusses on sloping micro-plots that are cultivated with minimal intervention and maximum dedication to make wines that showcase the high quality of Savoie wines.

Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.
