Origin: Jura, France
This is a fun, refreshing traditional methode bubbly from winemaker/farmer Geraud Fromont in the Jura. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. 15 months on the lees in bottle before disgorgement. Bottled with zero dosage.
On the nose is firm golden apple and crushed white rock, and on the palate is apple, fresh grass, a bit of sea-salt, and a touch of bitter herbs, with very soft bubbles. A solid choice for aperitif, that's meant to be fun and not overly complex.
