Named in homage to Stefano's beloved Maremma sheep dog, the Filagnotti Bianco is one of a few truly mesmerizing, single-vineyard expressions of Cortese from the estate.

Aged for almost a year in acacia vats, this feels like gamma rays compressed into liquid form. Utterly delicious with a fruity and floral nose.

Stefano Bellotti began as an eighteen year old in 1977, reclaiming the family winery where there was less than 1 hectare of vineyard in existing use. Today, in addition to producing wines, the estate has a market garden, grows cereals and fruit trees, raises a variety of farm animals and makes pasta and cheese. Everything is interrelated, with the various elements and living beings coexisting harmoniously and complementing each other.
