Probably our favourite orange at the moment. High-flying Jupiter takes its name from the colour of the largest planet in the solar system, from which it borrows its orange reflections 🍊. 

Made from a blend of white grapes - 60% Viognier, 20% Marsanne, 10% Roussanne and 10% Cugnette. Adopting an ancestral Georgian technique, Simon lets the grapes macerate in a kvevri (an egg-shaped terracotta amphora) for 15 days vinifying like a red wine.

Look for notes of apricots, blossom honey, caramelized apples, and bitter oranges.

Simon Gastrein is the kind of young winemaker everyone talks about, the one sommeliers send you a photo of asking, "do you know this?

Indeed this former chef who established himself only in 2017, seems to have found the cheat code to almost instantly achieve the status of an iconic bottle not to be missed in Paris.

The vines of Hameau Touchebœuf grow on the hillside amidst wild grasses at an altitude of 450m. It is here where the Rhône Valley meets the landscape of the Pilat Regional Natural Park that Simon Gastrein works.

Intuitively. Simply. By letting the terroir, the seasons and all their whims express themselves with the certainty that "nature does things well if you let it be generous."

He has planted Marsanne and Roussanne alongside Viognier, Gamay and Syrah. Recently he added Cugnette and Mornen Noir. A variety of fruit trees accompany Simon's vines reviving the tradition of mixed farming. With a flock of sheep, Highland cattle, Kunekune pigs, chickens and a pony, his large, lively family ensures natural weed control and a natural enrichment of the soil.

Simon's wines reflect his own character - straightforward, unpretentious, gastronomic, flattering while being expressive and a little quirky. Expect elegant Syrahs, fresh Viogniers, crisp Marsannes/Roussannes and delightful Gamays.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.
