Domaine Nakajima Table Wine Blanc 2025

Nestled in the mountains of Tomi, Nagano, Domaine Nakajima is the small-scale project of winemaker Yutaka Nakajima, whose approach is deeply rooted in simplicity, craftsmanship and working closely with nature.

Since moving to Tomi in 2009, Nakajima has cultivated a small vineyard at around 850m altitude, where French varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot grow alongside the region’s native flora. In 2019, he added Jura-inspired varieties including Savagnin and Pinot Noir, drawn to the area’s cool climate and mountain conditions.

His wines are made with a distinctly hands-on approach, using simple, self-made tools and minimal intervention in the cellar. One of his most distinctive cuvées is a pétillant rosé made from Kyoho, a large-berried Japanese table grape. The grapes are dried for almost two weeks before being pressed without skin contact, then fermented in bottle with no added sulphur or other ingredients.

Producing only a few thousand bottles a year, Domaine Nakajima’s wines are a quietly expressive reflection of their high-altitude home — pure, individual and unmistakably Japanese.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients
Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
