70% Gamay with 30% Grolleau Noir from 40 year old vines growing on silex and loam soil.

A light de-stemmed maceration means this is full of pretty dark fruit, herbal notes like thyme and marjoram and a touch of bitterness which adds to the wine’s freshness.

With a name that translates to "a shared summer" in English, this works fantastically with a light lunch outdoors. Drink lightly chilled alongside a hunk of bread topped with pork rillettes, cornichons and wholegrain mustard.
About the Producer

Laurent Saillard spent a lot of time in New York earlier in his life, managing at Balthazar and starting Ice, one of the first natural wine bars in New York, Ici.

Eventually he decided to try his hand at producing the wines he had fallen in love with and moved to the Loire Valley working with other producers like Noella Morantin, making his own wines on the side and eventually purchasing half of the historic and beautiful Clos Roche Blanche.

Obsessive observation and constant care are his highest priorities in the vineyard, where everything is done by hand & without the use of chemical sprays. Laurent's wines are fine, precise and utterly delicious.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients
Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
