Sat 27 Sep: Acala Sparkling Tea Drop-In Tasting

Introducing Acala, a range of barrel-aged sparkling tea using only the finest natural ingredients and is free from artificial flavours, colours and preservatives. Acala is made in Lithuania by an ex-wine sommelier Martynas Žemavičius who has a 20-year career in the fine wines and champagnes industry in London. He is a highly experienced sommelier with a Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma, a champagne judge at the Decanter World Wine Awards, and a finalist in the Champagne Academy program. Martynas is also a certified natural perfumer, with a professional diploma. 

 It is the perfect 0.0% non alcoholic alternative for wine and cocktail lovers who want a refreshing beverage with a touch of sophistication and elegance. The entire process spans over half a year. First, only the finest organic ingredients are selected. The tea is then brewed in spring water over live fire, before fermenting in oak barrels, stainless steel tanks and glass jars, accompanied by music. Next, the matured fermented teas are blended with freshly made teas, spices, flowers, herbs and juices. Lastly, the bottled sparkling tea is matured in bottle in a cool dark cellar much like fine wines.

These teas are now enjoyed in hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, and we are excited to share that they are available here at ours too.
