A unique collaboration between Thibaud Capellaro and Etienne Seignovert, made using the 3 flagship varieties of the Rhone - Syrah, Grenache and Viognier. The Syrah is from the Gard and from Etienne's vineyard in Mauve. The Grenache is from Gerald Oustric at Le Mazel, in South Ardeche and the Viognier is taken from the Domaine du Père Benoit in the Gard region. 50% maceration and 50% direct press. All the ageing of the different wines are made in neutral wood, demi-muids and barriques, and the wine is blended in the end.

About the Producer

Thibaud Capellaro is part of the new wave of wine producers rising in Northern Rhône. Although he grew up in the area, he is a first-generation winemaker. He founded Slope in 2018 and began renting a cellar in Condrieu. The grapes are all négociant bought from producers in Rhône and Ardèche, but Thibaud thinks long-term and has bigger plans for Slope than just being a négociant.

Thibaud’s operation consists of his own vineyards in Côte-Rôtie: two plots from François Bouillot-Salomon, and a négoce line called Slope, for which he sources grapes from small, organic growers in the region.

His winemaking is original and experimental. He is not afraid to break the norms set by the appellation system in the area. In the cellar, he uses spontaneous fermentation, no fining or filtration, old casks and minimal to no added sulphur. He uses a variety of vessels, from used oak barrels, stainless steel, fiberglass, and even terracotta and ceramic.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
