Ssuk is the second release of their botanical makgeolli made with wormwood (ssuk) and a new addition of perilla grown by Pheobe Tran.
Inspired by the traditional botanical wines that can only be found in Korea, Ssuk Makgeolli is made by taking the sedimented portion of the Yakju 14 and infusing it with a concentrated ssuk and perilla tea. The Ssuk Makgeolli is light in body, dry, and deeply herbacious with notes of sage and mint.
Best kept refrigerated or stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Shake gently to incorporate sediment and enjoy cold.
