The perfect wine to take you from day to night!

All the Pinot Gris comes from Robert Surmann’s vineyard in Totness. The grapes are destemmed and left to rest for 4 days before being pressed into a ceramic egg and fermented for two weeks until there is the perfect amount of sugar to finish in bottle with a good level of spritz. It is then aged on lees in the bottle for five months and then disgorged.

In Anton's words: "A cupric tinge of rose gold, toasty precious precision bubbling over your tongue. It has a delicate palate for a night out with style. Think beluga, bellini, and Fellini! "

About the Producer

The Lucy M wines are made on the Lucy Margaux Farm in Basket Range, South Australia by Anton Van Klopper and friends. The wines change every year but one thing is constant: No additions, no subtractions, just grapes.

Considered one of the pioneers of the natural wine movement in Australia, Anton describes what 'natural wine' is these words below.

"Though very little about it is simple – it is so much more: ‘natural’ is not greed, capitalism, chemicals, or control. It is a metamorphosis that allows an archetypal drink to form. Therefore, natural wine cannot be made through greed, capitalism, chemicals, or control. You must have a relationship with the vines that offer their fruit, so they must be farmed organically. To adulterate nature’s work by filtering, fining, or any addition, including small amounts of sulphur, is not natural."

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
