Les Bariolés Les Sables De Grès Chardonnay Muscaté Macération 2022

The French-Italian duo Claire Freist and Edoardo Veltroni started Les Bariolés in 2022 after many years of experience in Burgundy, where they met and worked with a number of producers in both Côte de Nuits and Beaune.

The domain is located in the southern Auvergne in the town of Chalus at an altitude of 600 meters. The 5 hectares of vineyards stretch down the steep hills and are planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gamay. Since taking over the domaine, they have also added Syrah and Aligoté. The name Les Bariolés refers to the multi-colored soil seen in their fields.

In the field, the work is carried out with minimal intervention and according to biodynamic principles. This approach also applies in the winery, where the addition of sulphites is minimal or non-existent. Only natural yeast from the fields is used, and all wines are aged for 12-16 months in amphora and oak barrels. The final result is a series of charming wines with a clear touch of the couple's past in Burgundy.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients
Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
