Les Dos d'Chat is the négociant project of Fabrice Dodane, winemaker and owner of Domaine de Saint Pierre. Created to complement the dwindling Jura harvests resulting from the region's changing climate, these wines are delicious and more readily available than the wines from Domaine de Saint Pierre, although still quite rare.

Syrah grapes that undergo 20 days of maceration with the skins in open vats, before gentle pressing and continuous fermentation. Aged for 8 months in old oak barrels and stainless steel tanks before bottling. No additions.

About the Producer

Domaine de Saint Pierre is run by Fabrice Dodane, who was born and raised in Arbois. He started as a manager of the domaine in 1989 and took over the place when the previous owner died in 2011. Under Fabrice’s management, the domaine’s six hectares in Arbois and Côte du Jura have all been converted to organic farming, and the ever-increasing quality of the grapes has enabled Fabrice to use minuscule amounts of sulphur in the cellar or to omit it completely. The result is simply dramatic. Domaine de Saint Pierre’s wines have undergone a huge transformation over the past few years and are to this day some of the finest that Arbois has to offer. In some respects he is also a bridge for drinkers between those greats and newer stars like Labet and Marnes Blanches, to name a few. He makes fantastic wines that are complex and absolutely a delight to drink. In addition, he also produces a number of well-made drinkable négociant wines from purchased grapes under the name of Fabrice Dodane.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
