100% Pinot Noir from the village of Trepail with no added dosage. The fruit for this wine was previously used for a rosé called L’Alchimiste. In 2011, Léclapart decided to make a Blanc de Noir style instead, as the fruit was not perfect for maceration.

It is likely that in the future the rosé will once again return in certain vintages, but for now, he is thrilled with the result. The fruit is from old vines, planted in the 50s and 60s and entirely vinified in secondhand barriques.

Crushed roses and oyster shell, with gently spicy strawberries and wild cherries. The palate has a supple and fleshy texture that winds out to a powerful, dry and intense, minerally focus on the finish.
About the Producer

Although the well-known quote by architect Mies Van der Rohe “less is more” is generally used in the world of the arts, it fits perfectly with the working philosophy of winegrower David Léclapart. Great-grandson, grandson and son of ‘vignerons’, he is a leading champion of biodynamic agriculture with maximum respect for the terroir. Since taking on the family estate in Trepail, east of the Reims mountains, he has been committed to returning to the unique Champagne de Vigneron and has become a benchmark in the region. In order to do so, he lets the terroir, climate, grape variety and people to live in unity, without any intervention that could damage the natural balance of the ecosystem.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
