100% Blaufrankisch from old vineyards with very low yields on the west side of the lake, where the soils are rich in limestone, to which the name of the wine clearly refers.
Half of the grapes are de-stemmed, the other half fermented whole cluster. Spontaneous fermentation takes place mostly in large oak barrels, the same containers used for ageing.
The taste is very pleasant, the prelude to Blaufrankisch made in amphora. A smoky nose with intense notes of blueberry, black cherry and blood orange, nice crisp fresh fruit. Then more developed hints of earth, black olives, aromatic and spicy notes. In the mouth it is fine and aromatic, the plum and sour cherry are also joined by a hint of elderberry and cocoa. Juicy and vibrant sip, all played on freshness and juiciness.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.
There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.
1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.
Wrong Addresses or No Recipients
Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
