PATRICE BÉGUET BIG BUNCH THEORY GO TOGETHER BLANC 2020
Jura // France

When you want something a little different from your usual white. Almost like iced tea in texture. Pop a straw in it if you dare!

Juicy, with hints of guava, orange marmalade, clove and cardamom.

For his négociant Big Bunch Theory series, Patrice sources from trusted producers who farm biodynamically. The Grenache Blanc is from Mont Ventoux, the Melon de Bourgogne from Domaine Landron Chartier (Muscadet) and the Gewurztraminer is from Alsace.

Each quirky and colourful label from this series has been painted by artist and illustrator Aya Sato.

Leaving the bright lights of Paris in 2009, Patrice Béguet and Caroline Hughes returned home to the little village of Mesnay in Jura to pursue his dream of making experimental, natural wine.

Committed to all aspects of ecology, organic and biodynamic methods, his wines are Demeter certified. This is unusual for such a small producer.

Drawing inspiration from his love of jazz and the diverse scenery of Jura; his range of wines are electric, textural and complex.
