Garage Project is Pete Gillespie, Jos Ruffell, and Ian Gillespie. When they started out in 2011, they were tiny. Garage Project wasn't even micro brewing… it was a truly nano brewery. It was in a derelict petrol station and car workshop with a colourful history. It had been a Jaguar workshop, run by a female race car driver and mechanic Sybil Lupp, but by the time they came to Aro looking for a space to start their brewery, the building had seen better days. Years passed and the Garage Project has grown, but that same ethos still shapes how they do things at the Garage. Whether they’re brewing 50 liters or 2000, they’re still here to take some risks, to have a bit of fun and to try something new. Welcome to the Garage Project.
