PATRICE BÉGUET BIG BUNCH THEORY FRESH IMPRESSION ROUGE 2021
Jura // France

A blend of Gamay and Poulsard with an intriguing and playful nose of savoury edged red berries and cherry that flirt with smokey bacon and hibiscus.

Light, fresh and dangerously drinkable!

For his négociant Big Bunch Theory series, Patrice sources from trusted producers who farm biodynamically. The Gamay is from Domaine Landron Chartier (Muscadet) and the Poulsard from Patrice's vineyards.

Each quirky and colourful label from this series has been painted by artist and illustrator Aya Sato.

Leaving the bright lights of Paris in 2009, Patrice Béguet and Caroline Hughes returned home to the little village of Mesnay in Jura to pursue his dream of making experimental, natural wine.

Committed to all aspects of ecology, organic and biodynamic methods, his wines are Demeter certified. This is unusual for such a small producer.

Drawing inspiration from his love of jazz and the diverse scenery of Jura; his range of wines are electric, textural and complex.
