Les Valseuses have used Carignan from 100+ year-old vines from Lubéron in Central Provence. Part pressed and part destemmed by hand. The destemmed grapes infused in the juice for 2 months in open-top old wooden fermenters. After fermentation the wine aged for 2 more years in old barrels before bottling.

Heady and intoxicating, the fruit is dark and intense. Berries, leather, soy, and iron.
About the Producer

Antoine Le Court-Chedevergne (from Angers, France) and Julia Naar (from Rio, Brazil) are part of an exciting new wave of winemaking talent in Jura, France. Antoine’s journey has taken him across the world making both wine and spontaneous ferment beer — from Australia to California and Brazil, where he met Julia. He spent a year working with Alice Bouvot in Arbois and it was in her cellar that he made his first vintage of ‘Les Valseuses’ wines.

The couple have a stunning guesthouse in the small village of Les-Planches-près-Arbois in Jura, and work in the century-old cellar underneath the guesthouse. They started out as a full négociant project but they have also started planting their own vines nearby. They favour long gentle macerations in the cellar, and enjoy blends of red and white varieties. Everything is done by hand including bottlings. The resulting wines are concentrated and startlingly pure.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
