A delicious Pet-Nat for the hot days and long nights.

Jérôme Lambert De L'Air 2021

Chenin Blanc. A remarkable Pét-Nat from one of the region’s foremost zero-zero heroes and indisputable masters. Chenin Blanc from forty year old vines planted over schist and aged on the lees in bottle for just over a year before disgorgement. A pale straw yellow in the glass, it is delicate and nuanced, with complex notes of citrus, smoke and stones. Jérôme Lambert is a true farmer-winemaker tending a couple of hectares of vines near Rablay-sur-Layon in a part of Anjou that is undoubtedly one of the Loire’s great terroirs.

Deboutbertin Gogo Gadget Aux Bulles 2020

Chenin Blanc. Stéphanie and Vincent produce this wine from 0.77 ha of 30yo vines located in Faye d’Anjou, grown on a north tilting plateau with 30cm topsoil where rhyolites (a heavy primary rock comprising iron, magnesium, feldspar and quartz) are dominant. Yield is a low 25hh, grapes are very slowly pressed, the juice is transferred into old barrels for a slow-paced fermentation and 18 months élevage, the finished wine is bottled without fining, filtration or sulphur. Slightly reduced when young, it offers dense confit citrus fruits and pear on the palate with a hint of spice, great balance with a mineral vibration.

L'Egrappille VDF L’Égrappille 2018

Gamay from Auvergne. A delicious sparkling red! Catherine Dumora is a name that has resonated in Auvergne for years now. She had spent her life devoted to Anthropology until she met Pierre Beauger in 2012 who awakened in her a passion for wine, and with Manuel Duveau whom she shared a few years of life together. Catherine’s farming is ultra sensitive and artisan to the core, and her wines are richly flavoured and quite unforgettable.
