The cuvée is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in the parcel of the same name.

The name “Martin-Fontaine” is derived from “Mort Fontaine,” French for “dead fountain,” and refers to an old water source at the bottom of the hill.

Ruppert-Leroy produces only 3,500 bottles of this cuvée each year.

About the Producer

The Aube is Champagne’s frontier, the place where a new generation of vignerons are pursuing unique visions of how to express their terroirs, unconstrained by conventional wisdom.

The embodiment of this pioneering spirit can be found in Gerard Ruppert and his daughter Benedicte Leroy. Their magical Champagnes are the result of a special site, farmed organically for the past thirty years, and methods developed through a strong empirical sense and the courage to experiment.

If there is any place in the Aube that is best suited for the “Burgundy with bubbles” philosophy of the region’s best growers, it is here. And that ethos is exemplified by the striking terroir expression of Ruppert-Leroy’s cuvées.

Every cuvee comes from a single year, a single parcel and always without dosage.

Doorstep Delivery

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
