Arnot-Roberts Manchester Ridge Vineyard Mendocino Ridge Pinot Noir 2020

Elegant Pinot Noir from a one-off collaboration between master Californian winemakers and a prestigious cool-climate vineyard. This is a one-time opportunity to work with the Manchester Ridge vineyard, located in the Mendocino Ridge AVA on the border of Sonoma and Mendocino counties. This remote site is situated 2,000 feet above Point Arena and is planted a mere 3.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The wine is light in body and bursts from the glass with soaring aromatics of crystalline red fruit and spice, followed by saturated but translucent flavours of damp coastal forest and sea breeze. Eight barrels were produced.
