Cascina Barbaresco DOCG Rio Sordo 2019

The story of Cascina delle Rose began after WWII – with Giovanna's grandparents, Beatrice and Ferdinando Rizzolio. The two fell in love with the property – struck by it’s panoramic hills against the backdrop of the Italian Alps. In 1974, Giovanna took over the  farm. Aided by her husband Italo and their young sons Davide and Riccardo, they tend the 3 hectares of vines as sympathetically and naturally as possible.

In 1992, a close family friend was struck by an unusual interaction between Patata (their dog), Mimì (their cat) and a swallow at play during a visit. This inspired their logo and has appeared on every bottle since.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
