Limousine is a blend of all the white grapes from Lewisburg vineyard, just north of Corvallis. The combination of high acidity and leesy-ness from the long barrel aging makes this a fun wine with food.

There is a small but vigorous ¼ acre of chardonnay, and an interesting ½ acre down the slope at the back of the property, running east-west, which has 2 rows each of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, pinot blanc, and pinot gris. This part of the vineyard was neglected; it is under-vigorous and right next to the woods, so the Riesling gets a fair bit of shade (although, interestingly, it doesn’t seem to mind). 

The white wine is probably about 70-80% chardonnay, but this back vineyard definitely adds some spice. Limousine was pressed directly, fermented in neutral oak, then aged for 18+ months (taking plenty of time to go through the malolactic fermentation). 
About the Producer

Throughout Eastern Europe, Dacha means ‘summer house.’ Practically, dachas are an escape from the city: small simple cottages with a yard for growing vegetables to pickle. Culturally, the dacha takes on a semi-mythic quality. It is a space outside time that is both creative and close to nature, built with a view out to the natural world’s weird tension between beauty and brutality. If people live in the city, they dwell in the dacha. To Burgundy-trained winemaker Isabel, Oregon is in many ways the preeminent Dachaland of the USA. Given the confluence of various environmental, cultural and humanitarian crises, it is time to reframe the dacha: less as an escape, more as a laboratory. She farms in the Southern Willamette and Umpqua Valleys, is working to grow the biodiversity and health of the vineyards, and the diversity of people who drink the wines that come from them.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.
