A blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, this wine hails from vineyards up to 60 year old in the flint, chalky soils of Chavot. This cuvée is designed to exhibit just how good the terroir of Chavot can be. Here the pinot noir is planted in rich clay, and the 55yo chardonnay in chalk. The still wine was originally aged in 3-5yo barrels with no malos; the fruit is delicious showing tangerine, papaya and hints of ginger, all the time beautifully underlined by a striking mineral quality, with outstanding length and energy. Disgorged 10/22 - Dosage 4g/l.

This is the best of the harvest; it's focused and racy.
About the Producer

The Laherte brothers, Thierry and Christian, are sixth generation winemakers in the Valle de la Marne of Champagne. Aurelien Laherte represents the seventh generation and has been taking the winery to a new dimension, while still following in the footsteps of his family. They have 75 different plots across Epernay, Vallée de la Marne, and the Cotes des Blancs. The mantra with the family is to let the terroir speak for itself with a deep respect for tradition, heritage, and land. Each example of Laherte Fréres is more stunning than the last. The Laherte family, with Aurélien at the helm, have earned themselves a reputation as one of the most compelling and revolutionary producers in Champagne.

Doorstep Delivery

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
