Sepp and Maria Muster are pioneers of biodynamic winemaking in Styria, setting up their domaine with 10 hectares of vines in the early 2000s with full biodynamic certification by 2003. These are electrifying, complex and long lived wines that seem to reveal a different facet with every sip.
This is their renowned orange wine made from Sauvignon Blanc left on skins for a couple of weeks then fermented and aged in big oak barrels for several years. A tightly wound ball of pure energy is the best way we can describe this wine. Compact and concentrated with floral aromatics and masses of savoury, nutty, spicy complexity on the long palate.
