Oliver's Taranga Fiano 2016

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Australia (McLaren Vale)

"Bright welcoming straw-green; the bouquet has the wild flower/bush/pine aromas seen in other Australian fianos, the palate following suit with a strong, racy structure embracing both savoury and fruity nuances - I'll buy Olivers' suggestion of kaffir lime. A mouthfilling wine with attitude and natural acidity." - James Halliday (Australian Wine Companion)

Profile: Cloudy apple with ginger and nutty notes, lively grapefruit and lemon edge; lemon zest and nutty texture with a delicate honeysuckle floral palate and soft, dry finish.

Tip: Best enjoyed young and not serve a Fiano too cold to allow the layers of flavours to blossom and be distinguishable.

Recommended Food Pairing: Perfect with spicy food; pesto dishes; tomato or white sauce based pasta; white meats; assorted cheeses.
