Grapes: Grenache, Carignan

Two equal parts Grenache and Carignan from a farmer, Remi Poujol, in the Languedoc. Alice has her own vineyards but often with low yields she sources grapes from negotiants to bolster her beautiful offering. The Grenache spends fifteen days on skins as whole bunches, while the Carignan is given a direct press and the two age for nine months in cuve. Light mineral quality with bright pure fruits, strawberries and currants, crunchy acidity with earthy notes. Light bodied, complex and delicate. A pleasant to drink Alice's wines.
