L.A.S. Vino CBDB 2018 - Temple Cellars

Origin: Margaret River, Australia

Grapes: Chenin Blanc

Vol: 750ml

Beautiful biodynamically grown Chenin Blanc from one of Margaret River's rising talents. The CBDB (Chenin Blanc Dynamic Blend) is Chenin Blanc from the oldest certified biodynamic vineyard in Margaret River. Winemaker Nic Peterkin looks for a more textural style of Chenin. In search of mouthfeel, this gets the works. Cold soaked and basket pressed, fermented in a mixture of old oak and in clay. The wine is then stirred every fortnight to bring up some leesy creaminess through the wine. And finally, the whole thing is finished with a French bottle, and cork and crisp wax seal.

About L.A.S. Vino - Nic Peterkin’s blood runs red with Margaret River wine. The son of Pierro founder, Dr Mike Peterkin and Shelly Cullen, of you guessed it, Cullen wines fame, the force is strong with this one. His wines are out there, challenging the status quo of one of the country’s most respected wine producing regions. This is the “New Guard” of Margaret River, and the wines are coming out all guns blazing.
