Koerner La Korse Red 2021

Koerner La Korse Red 2021
Region: Clare Valley, South Australia
Grapes: Sangiovese, Grenache, Sciacarello, and a splash of Malbec & Carignan
The La Corse is not your average Clare Valley red. Here the boys combine Sangiovese and Sciaccarello with a splash of Malbec & Grenache, to create a vibrant, mischievous red with epic drinkability.
Jono and Damon Koerner are the innovative brothers behind this relatively new label that has been making waves across the country for a few vintages now. They grew up in the Clare Valley, but have since spent time working and studying around Australia and overseas. Their winemaking philosophy is simple – to make wines that reflect their place in the world, wines that are made in the vineyard. Managing the grapes organically, picking them not too early, not too late, and using only those grapes and a dash of preservatives make the wines. The wines are light, fresh, textured and well structured...as well as being highly drinkable! with high drinkability.
