John Duval Entity Shiraz 2016 - Temple Cellars

97 Pts and Platinum Best in Show Decanter Asian Wine Awards 2018

97 Pts "Deeply coloured; this is at once full-bodied and legant, not a common marriage in young red wines with decades in front of them. The flavours are all black: blackberry, blackcurrant, black cherry, earth and licorice. The old vines have also provided ripe tannins, the whole theme resonating with oak a la Grange." James Halliday 2019 Halliday Wine Companion August 2018

95 Pts "Svelte, sturdy, plump, you name it. There's ample tannin here but the fruit sweeps through it. This is a ripping Barossa/Eden shiraz. As generous as it is refined; as neat as it is ribald. Blackberry, roasted plums, cloves, mint, dark chocolate and a rush of boysenberry. Both grunty and succulent. It's a beauty. Campbell Mattinson The Wine Front July 2018

4 1/2 Stars "An opulent, classic Barossa shiraz offering subtle suggestions of violets, seasoned new oak and dark chocolate in the bouquet. The tannins are beautifully polished and varietal flavour lingers on the finish." Lester Jesberg Wine Wise June 2018
