De Martino Viejas Tinajas Cinsault 2016De Martino
ORIGIN: Chile (Itata Valley)
GRAPE VARIETAL: Cinsault
Dark violet color. The nose is floral with notes of violets, cherries, blackberries, and black fruit. Smooth, taut and fresh on the palate, easy to drink, with great structure and acidity. This amphorae-fermented-and-aged Cinsault from Itata tastes decidedly natural, well balanced with an abundance of pure plum, currant and cherry fruit. The finish is bright and lively as well.
Recommended Food Pairing: Beef and venison; roast chicken and pork; duck confit; foie gras; fried fish; mild to strong cheese; roasted vegetables and roots.
