A rich, creamy and finely chiselled white Burgundy showing amazing fruit, elegance, and freshness all rolled into one. The Chantereves Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Morgeots is wine with amazing presence, being rich and round as well as elegant and pure.

Coming from a certified organic vineyard in the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet, the incredibly ripe grapes were fermented with natural yeasts and the wine was aged for 12 months in a range of barrels from 228L to 600L, with no fining or filtration before bottling.

The gentle handling has resulted in a wine with delightful citrus, zest, apple and stone fruit characters, with creaminess on the palate and lots of structure and acid. It has the legs on it to cellar for another 10 years or so, too.
