Tripelpunkt – A Riesling Tessellatioin or the point at which the solid, liquid and gaseous phases of a substance coexist in equilibrium. This is Chaffey Bros successful attempt to capture the elusive triple point essence of the Riesling with grapes hand-picked from three Eden Valley old vine sites: Springton, Flaxman Valley, Angaston Hills. Their quest to create the elusive triumvirate: precision, texture & balance includes processing with whole-bunch pressed and 18 hours on skins.

Exotic aromas of Jasmine, Honeysuckle and Mandarin float alluringly from the glass and lead to a texture laden yet delicate palate evoking new season pink lady apples, mandarin with a finely textured finish of mineral bath salts with a subtle edge of refreshing quinine.

RECOMMENDED FOOD PAIRING: Poached chicken or fish; crispy roast pork; pan seared barramundi or sea bass; light salad greens.
