Agnès & René Mosse Vin de France Rosemonde 2015 - Temple Cellars

ORIGIN: France

GRAPE VARIETAL: Grolleau Gris, Cabernet Franc

VOL: 750ml

30 year old vines in clay, gravel and schist. Handpicked in early October, lightly pressed and allowed to ferment naturally. Beautiful rosé with a deep pink with an orange hue, fruity berries and freshness.

This rosé is straight up delicious. It is a deep pink color in the glass and almost has the structure of a light red wine. Tart, tangy aromas of pomegranate, grapefruit zest, red raspberry, and a hint of white pepper fill the nose. The palate continues with the high-toned, lip-smacking berry and citrus theme with hints of blueberry and cool honeydew melon. A great picnic wine.

Certified biodynamic by Qualite France. Agnès & René Mosse make natural wines from vineyards surrounding the town of Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay, just south of Angers in the Loire Valley.

Recommended Food Pairing: Burgers; roast chicken and turkey; Thai food; sweet sour pork or fish; deep fried calamari; garden salads and fruit salads.
