Kyro Koskue Barrel Aged GinKyro
Produced via double distillation and plant maceration (queen-of-the-meadow), sea buckthorn berries, cranberries, birch leaf and orange zest, ‘Koskue’ is then matured for several months in small casks. This time spent resting in wood lends it vanilla notes and especially transcends the aromatic and gustatory palette of this deeply spiced, fruity gin equipped with a pleasant saltiness. A vibrant gold colour. The opening is extremely refined and suave. First, the spices and the juniper, with a hint of citrus zest, precede delicately woody (new oak) and fruity (pineapple, pear, apple) notes. The palate is remarkably saline and gradually takes on a vanilla-scented aspect. The mid-palate returns to spices (saffron) and fruit (fresh walnuts, plum, Mirabelle plum).
