Chapuis Frères is an estate located in the village of Pommard, in Burgundy. Since 2009, it has belonged to two brothers, Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis from a family of winegrowers from Aloxe Corton. Romain, a trained oenologist, has remained a passionate student of wine growing well after finishing his studies; he has worked at domaines throughout France (Alsace, Bordeaux, Beaujolais), as well as in Lebanon and New Zealand. After his return to Burgundy, Romain notably worked as Philippe Pacalet’s top cellar master.

Passionate about gastronomy, wine and terroir, they decide to combine their skills in order to offer the wines they have dreamed of for a long time and are mainly known for their minimalist and natural approach. They own very few vines and also buy fresh harvest from certified organic wine growers in the region.
